DESTIN HIGH SCHOOL YEARBOOK

The Destin High School Yearbook class serves as the creative hub where memories are immortalized, and stories are told. In this class, we embark on a journey to encapsulate the essence of our high school experience. Using cameras and a passion for storytelling, we are the architects of the yearbook, entrusted with the monumental task of preserving a year’s worth of laughter, friendship, challenges, and growth. Together, we will transform these fleeting moments into timeless keepsakes, creating a tapestry of memories that will be cherished for years to come. We strive to always manifest the spirit and identity of our class, ensuring that our high school years are etched in history, one snapshot at a time.
We meet for Yearbook every day. Yearbook is known as Journalism class at DHS,
where we learn the journalistic skills required to create a marketable product for our students to purchase.

MEET THE TEACHER

Mackenzie Boyle

Mackenzie Boyle is an educator with a deep passion for teaching and a heart dedicated to her students. She embarked on her journey in the world of education after graduating with a degree in French from Georgia State University in 2021. Her career in education began as a substitute teacher in Georgia, where she quickly discovered her calling and dove headfirst into becoming the best teacher she could be for her future students.

Ms. Boyle’s love for the classroom and her unwavering commitment to nurturing young minds became apparent as she found joy in witnessing the spark in a student’s eye when they grasp a new concept. She thrives on creating an engaging and enjoyable learning environment, making class time not only educational but also fun for her students within her Language Arts and French classes.

Beyond her professional life, Mackenzie finds happiness in her personal life as well. She resides on picturesque Okaloosa Island with her fiancé, creating memories together while enjoying the serenity of coastal living. Their journey as a couple is set to take a new and exciting turn, as they anticipate the arrival of their first child in May 2024, bringing even more love and joy into their lives.
